Auto Care 1 app good for
Love the app really nice for tracking your money on your car and the fact that it reminds you not only oil changes but what you did to your car all of the repairs plus you can print all of it to. Really easy to use and simple layout love it
It would be nice if the service you add to the database would update the Mileage of the car instead of only updating mileage by gas receipts.
I used to track mileage and maintenance for my vehicles on a spreadsheet...no more! No need to write odometer reading on receipt and hope I still have it when I want to enter my numbers to the computer. Icloud and Dropbox backup great idea, please add Google Drive support. Ability to change axis on graphs would be nice as well and the ability to plot multiple vehicles, thanks!
Theres a lot of garbage out there, including ones that for some strange reason, have high ratings even though the developer hasnt maintained or improved their product in over a year or years.
Hint, look at how often a developer issues fixes/updates. If theyre regularly issued they likely care about their product like the developers of Auto Care do.
After searching through many apps, reading reviews, trying out demos, this is the app that stood out the most. It is easy to use, comprehensive, logical.
I do like the ability to add in custom service repair tasks, which can then be scheduled on a reoccurring basis, and I especially like the ability to take a picture of service receipts, and store on the actual service entry in the app (even if you do have to pay an additional 99 cents).
HOWEVER: the two items that have removed a start from my rating are:
1. Ease-of-use between iPhone and iPad. I downloaded the app on iPad, set everything up, then downloaded on iPhone. Then when trying to merge using iCloud between the two devices, I lost all my gasoline entries that I had manually entered for the past year. And then somehow I had a duplicate car entry on both devices.
Honestly not sure if this app can be used with the cloud between both devices, but I hope so.
2. This app has export ability, but it is only to PDF. Could the Devs please add export tro MS Excel (or a generic spreadsheet file extension)?
Other than that this app is perfect for those desiring to track mileage and service repair info. Has definitely cleaned up my glove compartment!!!
Oh and I almost forgot: This app CORRECTLY tracks gas prices to include Canadian (Ontario) taxes!!! WELL DONE!
Ive been using the app for about a year now, and have found it very very handy.I ran into a complication when I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 8, and contacted Xper2 Solutions for technical support. Their response was nearly immediate, and incredibly helpful. I have all my data back and could not be more happy. Thanks for a great app!
Some bad moments
Although I use this app, it gets more frustrating the longer I use it. The most annoying part is when I have multiple tasks done during a single service visit. Eg, replaced air filter, changed coolant, rotated tires. For each one, I have to create a separate service entry, replicate the date, odometer reading, etc. I enter the same data multiple times. I cant see how people dont pull their hair out after using this for some time!
Please allow a single service entry to contain multiple tasks!!
This could be a great app with a few updates and a little customer support. Too many glitches and the photo add-on option does not work. No customer support via email. $5 and a good bit of time and effort wasted here. Last update May 2014
This app is just what I needed to keep up with auto service and repairs. The continued development and unrivaled customer service make it a " must have" app. Keep up the great work guys!

Great idea to help monitor costs. The iCloud feature is not stable. I loose several weeks of data. I have attempted to contact the developer and to date I have not received any response.
If this app stabilized iCloud option and gave you a choice for fuel grades it would be a 5 star app.
But since there isnt any communication from developer I can only give it 2 stars. I will update if the developer responds to my questions.
Dont calculate my MPG correctly. I am not happy about the miscalculation of my mileage. Its have my getting 83 mpg on a car that average 19mpg.
Used the app for two years for two different cars. Upgraded to iPhone 7 and one of the cars just disappeared. I was using iCloud as data source. Very upset as I kept detailed records that are now lost.
